Acute Care - Clinical at North Central Bronx Hospital

Reflection of my experience

 

I found performing clinical nutrition at North Central Bronx Hospital to be the most challenging and rewarding task. I was very fortunate to have completed my acute care rotation in a hospital setting as per requested to Dr. Victoria Fischer, DI Director of Queens College. My work allowed me to gain knowledge on medical nutrition therapy and earned the approval of my preceptor, Anu Jara. Ms. Jara continued to challenge me further by assigning me to do staff relief for a clinical dietitian on my last week of this rotation. This valuable experience reinforced my desire to become a clinical dietitian.
