SPE Certified stands for Sanitas Per Escam, which means "Health through food". They are a for-profit company that offers a certification and counselting program design to enhance quality of meals without compromising taste. Collaboratively working with chefs, dietitians and scientific research committee to develop nutritious and delicious items on the menu. Their goals are to ensure properly sourced, well prepared and nutritionally balanced meals at any time of the day.
FamilyCook Productions (FCP) is a not-for-profit organization founded by Lynn Fredericks. FCP supports people of all ages in vast communities all over the country with culinary and nutrition educational programs. They shared the inspiration to parents, children, teens and individuals to approach food as a cultural adventure. Each program of FCP shares one goal in common, to empower individuals to prepare healthy meals and share it with their children, friends, families and their communities.
Elmhurst Hospital Center is a member hospital of the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation. In a large hospital which beds about 576 patients, the Food & Nutrition department is functioning to its full potential to ensure high quality meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Working with Sodexo as a management company, the managers of the Food & Nutrition department are able to provide the best route and practices to run the kitchen in both efficiently and less costly.
North Central Bronx Hospital is a member hospital of the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation that has 232 beds. The Food & Nutrition department is under Sodexo management company. The clinical nutrition team ensures quality patient care and comfort.
Union Plaza Care Center is a nursing home / rehabilitation center. The home provides warm and dedicated care for all residents. The healthcare team work very closely with the dietitians to assure an exquisite tasting food.
